Our Story: Born from a Final Goodbye

Owlpole was born from a moment of profound loss. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, our founder experienced the sudden and tragic passing of his grandmother. Like so many others, he didn’t realize that the last time he spoke to her would truly be the last time. In the wake of her absence, he found himself clinging to a handful of photographs and a few scattered video clips—precious fragments, but they couldn’t speak back, offer advice, or share a laugh.

He realized that while memories live in our hearts, the wisdom, voice, and presence of those we love can often fade. He set out to build a bridge between physical absence and emotional connection, ensuring that no child or grandchild ever has to feel the silence of a missing loved one.
